About The Position

Join our team as a Fiber Infrastructure Specialist (Enterprise Telecommunications Specialist) and take a leading role in building the physical network that keeps our city connected. From overseeing the construction and expansion of citywide fiber optic infrastructure to performing hands-on fiber splicing, testing, and structured cabling work, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the communications backbone that supports public safety, municipal operations, smart city technologies, and enterprise services. You'll work closely with OSP fiber contractors, utility partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver fiber construction projects while also supporting MDF and IDF environments, fiber distribution systems, and structured cabling installations. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives both in the field and on project sites, understands BICSI standards and telecommunications infrastructure best practices, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work that directly impacts the community. If you're passionate about connectivity, take ownership of your projects, and want to help shape the future of our city’s communications network — we want to hear from you.
