About The Position

This position will be directly responsible for providing manual labor in moving equipment and furnishings for Applied Materials employees and departments. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work shifts.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, work independently, meet schedules and time lines.
  • High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides manual labor in relocating furnishings, event setup equipment, general move requests, and some equipment installation
  • Reviews work order tickets to ensure all move and equipment-related services are completed
  • Follows work schedules and FF&E calendar created by FF&E manager in accordance with business hours as outlined within contractual agreements between ABM and the client.
  • Completes meeting and class set up requests
  • Handles key and lock requests from clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Job duties may be modified at any time.
  • Set up and take down chairs, tables, podiums, AV equipment and floor coverings as directed in the event setup plan.
  • Use special handling equipment as necessary.
  • Take guidance from the FF&E Project Manager in the performance of duties.
  • Direct 3rd party vendors as necessary to fulfill work orders.
  • Occasionally work outside of normal business hours in order to fulfill client requests.
