We have an immediate opening for a full-time Third-Party Donor Coordinator to join our team at RMA of New York in Eastside Manhattan, New York. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry or other related sciences is required
  • Should be organized, critical thinkers, detail-oriented, self-motivator, adaptable and able to multitask, compassionate, and have an interest in reproductive medicine/ women’s health
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and medical database software is required
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are required
  • Ability to learn new terminology and systems is required; A thorough teaching of reproductive anatomy will be part of initial training for this position, and understanding will be needed to excel; Travel to our various satellites may be required
  • Training is on-site at our Eastside office, with placement at the Eastside office

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient (donor patient and/or recipient couple) appointments in person or by telephone
  • Communication with patients and physicians
  • Assists with coordination of needed prescreening/testing in conjunction with physician orders and under the guidance of the nursing team members
  • Assists the patient with making prescreening or testing appointments as needed
  • Responsible for generating and maintaining patient prescreening and testing checklists in conjunction with clinical protocols
  • Provide patient education
  • Provide treatment coordination
  • Will have knowledge of prescription medications
