About The Position

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills in cryogenic tissue management within an IVF or clinical laboratory environment. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain exceptional accuracy in all aspects of cryopreserved tissue handling, storage, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an IVF laboratory, cryobank, or similar regulated tissue‑handling environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet time‑sensitive requirements.
  • Professional communication and collaborative skills.
  • Comfort supporting training and workflow consistency within the laboratory team.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work with cryogenic monitoring systems or high‑volume tissue storage environments.
  • Experience managing consent documentation, authorizations, or tissue disposition workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Expert handling and identification of cryopreserved embryos, oocytes, and sperm.
  • Experience with liquid nitrogen storage systems, cryogenic tank monitoring, and alarm/safety controls.
  • Ability to maintain viability and proper chain‑of‑custody of all stored reproductive tissues.
  • Accuracy in reconciling tissue inventories, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining inspection‑ready electronic records.
  • Managing authorized tissue movements, releases, and transfers with precise documentation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations (CAP, CLIA, FDA or similar) and strict adherence to SOPs.
  • Effective communication with embryologists, clinical teams, and administrative partners to support upcoming cycles and tissue‑related needs.
