About The Position

IVIRMA North America, a network of state-of-the-art fertility practices, is seeking a Fertility Registered Nurse to join its new RMA of Utah practice. This role involves collaborating with a specialized clinical team to manage the care of patients utilizing third-party reproduction (egg donors, sperm donors, and/or gestational carriers). IVIRMA Global is the largest group in the world devoted exclusively to human Assisted Reproduction Technology, embracing the responsibility of advancing the field of human reproduction through innovation, research, and science.

Requirements

  • High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are required
  • Excellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situation properly
  • Resourceful and well organized; committed to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed under stress
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Strong clinical skills, minimum of 6 months clinical experience
  • Experience working with oocyte donors, sperm donors, gestational carriers and intended parents/recipients
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Active Registered Nurse state license
  • BLS and/or ACLS

Nice To Haves

  • Prior EMR experience preferred
  • Prior experience in women’s healthcare preferred
  • IV certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a specialized clinical team to manage the care of patients utilizing third party reproduction (egg donors, sperm donors, and/or gestational carriers)
  • Follow required RMA protocols and procedures, including ensuring FDA compliance with periodic review of patient charts for the FDA eligibility determination
  • Contribute to physicians’ effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directives
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concerns
  • Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
  • Patient education in regard to treatment plan and medications through e-learning and other patient education available
  • Follow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis results
  • Assist physician with in-office procedures as needed
  • Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally
