About The Position

Organizes and coordinates activities and flow of work for the physician fellowship program. This role involves managing the entire fellowship process from initial applicant communication to final candidate selection and ongoing program support, ensuring compliance with ACGME guidelines.

Requirements

  • Strong Administration skills required.
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and organizes the fellowship process including communicating program offerings to prospective applicants, screening applications, recommending candidates for interview, arranging interviews, participating in the selection of candidates for the rank list, and following up with candidates.
  • Assists in the coordination of the program in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) guidelines; processes registrations, coordinates the fellowship application and evaluation process; creates and maintains databases; complies and distributes various schedules; provides administrative support.
  • Maintains personnel records, curriculum documentation, accreditation documentation, conference presentations, procedure documentation, and all required rotation documentation.
  • Coordinates special events, educational functions, and recruitment events.
  • Schedules and organizes fellow education sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
