The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a dedicated and forward-thinking Musculoskeletal Imaging Faculty Member and Program Director of the MSK Fellowship. This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative educator and clinician—whether early in their leadership journey or more seasoned—to shape the next generation of musculoskeletal radiologists while practicing in a collegial, intellectually rich environment. With strong backing from the Chair of Radiology and MSK Division leadership, the incoming Program Director will have the opportunity to lead and continually enhance the MSK fellowship that prepares graduates for diverse academic and private practice careers. They will oversee fellow recruitment, curriculum design, didactic education, and case-based learning across MR, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and image-guided MSK procedures. The role also involves mentoring fellows in research, scholarship, quality improvement, and professional development, partnering with Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to advance integrated musculoskeletal care, and contributing to a robust MSK practice while cultivating a culture of teamwork, transparency, and shared purpose within the division.
