About The Position

Responsible for the preparation and delivery of infant feedings following sanitary regulations and standards established by regulatory agencies and Albany Medical Center. Requires at least 1 year of college.

• At least 1 year of college.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes infant feedings for The Children's Hospital.
• Follows patient safety standards during preparation and delivery of formula and breast/donor milk.
• Operate equipment necessary to successfully prepare and deliver infant feedings.
• Able to read and interpret feeding orders.
• Follows all procedures and processes defined for formula and breast/donor milk preparation.
• Maintain good organizational skills for formula and breast/donor milk preparation.
• Responsible for maintaining inventories for all items/products utilized for the preparation and delivery of formula and breast/donor milk.
• Demonstrates the ability to use effective communication skills with the interdisciplinary team to manage job duties.
• When staffing allows, function in a teaching role for other health care professionals and new hires.
