About The Position

The Feed Mill Utility is responsible for cleaning and housekeeping throughout the feed mill, including removing dust from ledges, floors, equipment, and other surfaces. The role also sends bag ingredients to the work floor as needed and unloads trucks using an electric pallet jack when needed. The utility person serves as a backup yard spotter and is trained to perform the duties of the Receiving Operator when that person is absent. The employee must use and maintain the personal protective equipment assigned to each task and perform other reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor or member of management. Training will be provided.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
• Good math, written, and oral communication skills.
• Good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Clean the area and perform day-to-day housekeeping, including removing dust from ledges, floors, equipment, and other surfaces.
