About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining operational areas of the mill, upkeep of the grounds and landscaping around the mill, and assist with ingredients receiving when needed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Requirements

Six (6) months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and a Clean Driving record.
Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered.
Only applicants from the following counties in AR will be considered: Carroll, Boone, or Newton County in AR or within a 50-mile radius of the mill.
Only applicants from the following counties in AR will be considered: Washington, Benton and Madison, Adair County in OK, or within a 50-mile radius of the mill.
Must be able to complete paperwork, basic math, communicate effectively.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.

Nice To Haves

One year feed mill experiences preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience operating various types of powered industrial vehicles preferred.
Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification Where applicable LOTO Training.

Responsibilities

Ability to Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed
Help and assist with ingredients unloading activities like unloading of rail car/trucks
Ability to clean up feed spills
Ability to perform ground keeping duties including using landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
Ability to use and maintain air driver equipment like blow guns to assist in cleaning activities
Ability to use high pressure water hoses to wash down and clean areas of the feed mill
Ability to use PIT to move pallets of ingredients
Must wear required PPE ear protection
Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance
Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
