About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of high-quality feed to Tyson growers while maintaining the lowest possible operating costs and ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include maintaining a daily drug inventory for FDA compliance and managing personnel within the Housekeeping and Preventative Maintenance departments. The role also coordinates production schedules and inventory levels, leads monthly safety meetings to address issues within Mill and Trucking operations, supports quarterly budget planning, keeps upper management informed of operational performance and needs, and performs additional duties as required to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant feed mill operations experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • May require knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System.
  • Supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.
  • 1 to 5 trips per year.
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8 point policy (on application date)
  • No written warning in the past six (6) months
  • No suspension on record for the last 12 months
