About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the feed mill building and surrounding grounds. The position involves a variety of tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays, and the hours are from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The pay rate is $20.75 per hour.

Requirements

Must wear required PPE.
Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling.
Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures.
Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including an agreement to avoid any avian species.
Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Stand, sit, walk, climb ladder/stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
Must have at least 6 months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last 24 months.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed.
Assist with ingredient unloading activities, including unloading trucks.
Clean up feed spills.
Perform groundskeeping duties, including using landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers) and snow removal equipment (shovels, snow blower, skid loader).
Use and maintain air driver equipment like blow guns for cleaning.
Use high-pressure water hoses to wash down and clean areas of the feed mill.
Use PIT and skid loader to move pallets of ingredients.
Maintain good housekeeping, including service areas.
Communicate to all levels of Operations, including Customers and Vendors, orally and in writing where required.
Follow and operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols.
Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
