About The Position

The Feed Mill Receiving Operator at Pilgrim’s plays a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality poultry products. This position is responsible for receiving and verifying raw ingredients and placing them into proper locations within the feed mill. Safety is a top priority, and team members are expected to adhere to all safety conditions.

Requirements

• Some computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with climbing high structures
• Able to lift more than 30lbs
• Able to work in a dusty environment
• Able to work in hot or cold temperatures
• Able to obtain a forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Unloads bulk ingredient loads and collects samples from loads for the lab.
• Monitors ingredient inventories and communicates with the feed mill elevator purchasing agent.
• Cleans work area and maintains good housekeeping in the receiving area.
• Unloads bag ingredients from semi-trailers and stocks them in the warehouse.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
