Feed Mill Operator (Caldwell)
About The Position
The Simplot Company is looking for a dependable, safety-minded team member to help produce high-quality livestock feed products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting our customers by ensuring feed is produced efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a team, we'd love to hear from you. We are currently hiring for several production positions across multiple shifts: Bagging Operations – Day Shift or Swing Shift, Block Production – Graveyard Shift, Pelleting Operations – Day Shift or Swing Shift. Specific schedules and shift details will be discussed during the hiring process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, agricultural, feed mill, or equipment operation experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to learn and safely operate production equipment and forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities
- Operate bagging and production equipment used in the feed manufacturing process.
- Monitor feed quality and identify products that meet company quality standards.
- Assist with feed processing operations, including mixing, grinding, receiving, and pellet production activities.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Follow safety procedures, operating instructions, and quality standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Support other production and facility needs as assigned.
