CHS, Inc is looking for a hardworking individual to join our Animal Nutrition team in Luverne, MN as a Feed Mill Operator to be a key component in the formulation of the highest quality ingredients and all the essentials to improve animal health. No day will be the same as you will perform an array of operational tasks such as bagging, mixing, pelleting, receiving or managing loading functions based on business needs. Requirements

Must meet minimum age requirement
1+ years of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, agriculture or general labor environments.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
High School diploma or GED preferred
CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement preferred
Agriculture experience preferred
Forklift certification preferred

Responsibilities

Operate feed mill equipment (grinders, mixers, batching/pelleting systems) to manufacture livestock feed
Receive, handle, and move feed ingredients, load and unload trucks
Prepare and manage loadout, including opening hatches, attaching hoses, sampling, and ensuring accurate product delivery
Monitor batching/scaling systems and adjust processes to maintain feed quality and production accuracy
Perform routine equipment maintenance (greasing, inspections, minor troubleshooting) and report mechanical issues
Maintain a clean, safe mill environment through daily housekeeping, spill cleanup, and site upkeep
Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards while working with the team to meet daily production target
