What you’ll do Feed Mill Operator plays a vital role in contributing to the production of high-quality livestock feed through the operations of bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping activities at Chilliwack Mill. This position supports uninterrupted production operations by proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Requirements

2 - 3 years manufacturing experience an asset
Good computer skills
Ability to work in rotational shifts. Rotating Weekly.
Ability & willingness to work shifts and overtime
Ability to lift 25 kgs regularly
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
Ability to focus on details within a fast-paced environment
Team player and coachable
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills with attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification preferred
Boiler certificate is preferred (at least Class 5)

Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and identify areas to optimize production performance
Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities
Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
Promote awareness of any unsafe situation and take appropriate action
