About The Position

The Feed Mill Operator is responsible for grinding, loading, and unloading of material. This role involves operating various company vehicles around the facility, performing scheduled maintenance on equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in the grinding room and load out area. The position also requires completing paperwork related to material logging and loads.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Quality Control experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills both oral and written; must be able to follow both written and oral directions.
• Team player; works well with others.
• Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task.
• Good math skills; must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Log and grind materials to correct bins and silos.
• Load all outgoing meal loads into clean, dry trailer ensuring correct trailer weights.
• Collect samples, label, and deliver to lab.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and keep grinding room and load out area clean and sanitary.
• Operate various company vehicles around the facility.
• Complete paperwork with regard to logging of materials and loads.
• All other duties as assigned.
