About The Position

The Feed Mill Loadout Operator loads feed trucks with the appropriate feed type and quantity. The operator uses automated feed bulk load-out and auto-receiving systems, weighs trucks, and completes daily scale checks and inventory records. The role includes routine housekeeping, working grain trains when they arrive, and coordinating schedules and production with appropriate personnel. Work must comply with company policies, GMPs, FSMA regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good attendance.
• Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures.
• Ability to work in dusty or wet environments.
• Ability to become a certified forklift operator.
• Practical computer skills.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during grain train receiving.

Responsibilities

• Operate the automated feed bulk load-out system.
• Operate the auto-receiving system.
• Load and weigh feed trucks with the appropriate feed type and quantity.
• Perform daily housekeeping to keep designated areas clean.
• Take and record daily inventories.
• Comply with company policies, GMPs, FSMA regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Perform daily scale checks.
• Work grain trains when they arrive.
• Communicate and coordinate schedules and production with appropriate personnel.
