About The Position
PIPESTONE Nutrition is hiring a Feed Mill Administrator to support the daily accounting, inventory, and administrative functions that keep feed mill operations running efficiently. The role is available in Brandon, South Dakota, or Independence or Hopkinton, Iowa. The administrator works with mill staff and builds relationships with vendors, customers, and colleagues across departments.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Agriculture, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Ag Vision software.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, and general ledger activities.
- Process ingredient receipts and feed invoices, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Track ingredient contracts and facilitate corn contracts using Ag Vision Commodity Manager.
- Generate reports and weekly statements, and complete inventory reconciliations.
- Create records for PART and group closeouts.
- Assist mill staff by answering phones, taking feed orders, and supporting office operations.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, customers, and team members across departments.
