The Feed Loading Operator is responsible for accurately inputting driver and farm information into the feed tracking system, ensuring the correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm. This role involves directing drivers to the correct loading area based on the loading schedule, organizing and flexing tasks, and managing changing priorities throughout the day. The operator will also take feed bin inventory and operate loading equipment to correctly load trucks according to load schedules. The position requires the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. The role also necessitates working holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by demand scheduling, and working in elevated areas while adhering to all safety procedures. Additionally, the operator must sign and abide by Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including an agreement to avoid any avian species, maintain good housekeeping, and communicate effectively with all levels of Operations, Customers, and Vendors. The role involves following and operating within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols, lifting up to 60 lbs (or up to 100 lbs with assistance), and sustaining physical activity throughout the day including standing, sitting, walking, and climbing ladders/stairs. The operator will also complete other tasks assigned by management.
