OVERVIEW The Packaging Loading Operator unloads and loads empty package materials.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience driving a forklift
- Ability to maneuver in a confined area.
- Ability to coordinate hand and foot controls.
- To operate equipment properly, to prevent property damage and minimum hazard to self and fellow workers.
Responsibilities
- Operates fork-lift in a safe, efficient manner.
- Unloads and loads empty package materials from trucks and railroad care.
- Supplies packaging house with specified orders.
- Hauls empty pallets and drums from packing house to specified area for shipment.
- Obtains equipment from designated location before work and returns equipment when work is complete.
- Performs all jobs in accordance with established safety practices and sanitation standards.
