The Feed Loading Operator is responsible for accurately inputting driver and farm information into the feed tracking system, ensuring the correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm. This role involves directing drivers to the correct loading area based on the loading schedule, organizing and flexing tasks, and changing priorities throughout the day. The operator will also take feed bin inventory and operate loading equipment to correctly load trucks according to load schedules. The position requires the ability to work in various environmental conditions including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments, with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. The role also necessitates working holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by demand scheduling, and working in elevated areas while following all safety procedures. Additionally, the operator must sign and abide by Company Biosecurity Guidelines, maintain good housekeeping, and communicate effectively with operations, customers, and vendors. Adherence to all Tyson Health and Safety protocols is mandatory. The job involves significant physical activity, including lifting up to 60 lbs (or up to 100 lbs with assistance), and the ability to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders/stairs throughout the day. Other tasks assigned by management must also be completed.
