About The Position

This Federal Work Study position is with the CRAVE Lab in the Department of Respiratory Therapy. The student will help with data collection and analysis and assist with the laboratory’s clinical and animal research activities, including testing new medical devices in human subjects or animals. The role also supports research project coordination, education, compliance, and execution of research activities.

Additional duties include printing medical devices on a 3D printer, cleaning and curing devices, stocking supplies and developing ordering lists, documenting research activities, and creating advertising, brochures, and text for program activities. The student will work with research customers to communicate requirements and better understand collaboration efforts. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Must be a UTMB student enrolled at least half time.

Responsibilities

• Help with data collection and analysis.
