About The Position

The Federal Wage Compliance Coordinator provides administrative and operational support with a focus on certified payroll review, contractor compliance tracking, and system administration in support of Davis-Bacon Act requirements. This role is responsible for managing enrollment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring subcontractor compliance across multiple contracts. This will be onsite at our project near Boise, ID.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years of administrative, compliance, or coordination experience
  • Experience reviewing documents, tracking compliance items, or preferred working with contractors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and administrative systems
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with consistency and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive payroll and compliance information with confidentiality
  • Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use.
  • Visual acuity in near, mid and far range vision. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination.
  • Sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and radio; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment.
  • Sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio.
  • Constant mental alertness, accuracy, and attention to detail required.
  • Work independently, make decisions, and follow through on all assignments.
  • Use creativity, independent judgment, and organizational and problem-solving skills to determine the best method to accomplish desired results.

  • Strong organizational and computer use skills and have a high level of competency to read/write/speak English, interpret construction related documentation and communicate with coworkers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage enrollment, setup, and ongoing maintenance of certified payroll systems and compliance platforms
  • Review subcontractor certified payroll reports for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with prevailing wage requirements
  • Track and monitor submission status, deficiencies, and compliance issues across multiple contracts
  • Maintain and organize compliance documentation, including payroll reports, contractor records, and contract files
  • Communicate with subcontractors to request corrections, missing information, and required documentation
  • Track deadlines and follow up to ensure timely submission and resolution of compliance items
  • Perform data entry, audit, and routine checks to ensure accuracy within compliance systems
  • Support system administration tasks, including user setup, access management, and troubleshooting
  • Assist with audit preparation by compiling and organizing required compliance documentation
  • Provide general administrative support
