About The Position
The Wage Compliance Specialist independently processes payroll and certified payroll reporting for multiple projects. This role resolves discrepancies, ensures prevailing wage compliance, and acts as a resource for project teams regarding payroll regulations.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of progressive payroll, labor compliance and prevailing wage experience.
- Strong understanding of Davis-Bacon and certified payroll requirements.
- Experience with LCPtracker or similar compliance platforms.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare, review, and submit CPRs.
- Validate wage classifications, fringe calculations, and deductions.
- Review union agreements and apprenticeship documentation as applicable.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and perform payroll audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state prevailing wage laws.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and project teams to resolve payroll issues.
