About The Position

The FE Part Lead is responsible for preventing performance and quality issues in equipment used in production, maximizing investment efficiency through scientific and economical maintenance, and conducting maintenance without environmental or safety-related accidents. The role establishes and manages equipment performance and preventive maintenance plans, oversees maintenance when equipment fails or has performance or quality defects, and proposes and manages equipment improvements or remodeling.

The position may lead a small team of professionals, provide mentoring and coaching, and improve methods or procedures. It typically focuses on short-term action plans rather than policy, process, or strategy development.

Requirements

• Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree, or 6 years of related experience and a master's degree, or a PhD with 3 years of related experience.
• Deep knowledge of one job area or broad knowledge across several job areas.
• Ability to implement short-term action plans.
• Ability to improve methods or procedures and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage performance management plan items by checking production-process equipment.
• Establish and manage preventive maintenance items before failures or performance or quality defects are found.
• Manage maintenance of equipment with failures or performance or quality defects.
• Suggest improvement measures and manage equipment that needs remodeling or improvement.
• Enhance or improve methods or procedures and coach team members to support successful outcomes.
• Mentor and coach team members.
