About The Position

The FCP Tribal Talent Program is designed to provide enrolled members of the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe with valuable work experience and professional knowledge. Participants will learn more about their field or industry of interest while working within FCP Tribal Government Divisions. This program allows interns to apply knowledge gained in their Bachelor's programs to real-world projects and daily tasks within selected rotation departments. The goal is to contribute to department objectives, complete assigned projects, and collaborate with supervisors on potential permanent placement opportunities upon successful completion of the program.

Requirements

Must be enrolled member of Forest County Potawatomi Tribe
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, One Note, Power Point, Outlook
Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens

Nice To Haves

COVID-19 vaccine prior to hire (required for Health Division employees, and FCP complies with all CMS Mandates)
Additional immunization requirements may also be necessary

Responsibilities

Learns more about field or industry of interest while working for FCP Tribal Government Divisions
Applies knowledge learned in Bachelor’s program to work within the selected rotation departments
Gains valuable work experience and professional knowledge while contributing to department goals and objectives
Completes projects and day to day work identified by the department supervisor/incumbent staff
Creates rotation summaries for each position
Collaborates with Tribal Talent Program Coordinator and department supervisors on potential permanent placement if successful
