About The Position

Froedtert & MCW Health Community Physicians Network is recruiting a Fast Care APRN-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Froedtert West Bend Fast Care, with work required at all Fast Care locations. The position is a minimum of 0.6 FTE and up to 0.8 FTE, with one weekend worked every four weeks. The Fast Care practice is described as collegial, collaborative, and consultative, with exceptional support staff. The role is part of a health network offering access to a large hospital system, academic affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin, ongoing education, and current technology and support for patient care.

Requirements

For APRN-Nurse Practitioners: A master's degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program are required.
For APRN-Nurse Practitioners: Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required.
For APRN-Nurse Practitioners: Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required.
For APRN-Nurse Practitioners: Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.
For APRN-Nurse Practitioners: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent, is required upon hire.
For APRN-Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
For Physician Assistants: A bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required.
For Physician Assistants: Current state certification as a PA and current DEA are required.
