About The Position

Froedtert & MCW Health Community Physicians Network is recruiting a Fast Care APRN-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Froedtert Greenfield Fast Care in Greenfield, Wisconsin. The role requires working across all Fast Care locations and is a minimum of 0.6 FTE, with one weekend every four weeks. The practice is described as collegial, collaborative, and consultative, with exceptional support staff. The position is part of the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Community Physician network, a partnership supporting patient care, innovation, medical research, and education. The health network offers the resources of a large hospital system and an academic affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Greenfield is a suburban community near downtown Milwaukee and Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, with schools, parks, shopping, and dining options. For nurse practitioners, a master’s degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program are required. Current Wisconsin RN licensure or a participating-state multistate NLC license, Wisconsin APNP certification, ANCC or AANP certification, and AHA BLS or equivalent upon hire are required. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be obtainable; at least two years of clinical experience is preferred. For physician assistants, a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies, current state PA certification, and current DEA are required. AHA BLS or equivalent is required upon hire. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be obtainable.

Requirements

For nurse practitioners: a master’s degree in nursing.
For nurse practitioners: graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program.
For nurse practitioners: current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
For nurse practitioners: certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
For nurse practitioners: certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
For nurse practitioners and physician assistants: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent, upon hire.
For nurse practitioners and physician assistants: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain them.
For physician assistants: a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies.
For physician assistants: current state certification as a PA and current DEA.
