About The Position

This position is responsible for all aspects of humanly raising and caring for the Smart Chicken® livestock. This includes tasks such as reading water meters, picking up daily mortality, checking for proper equipment operations, ensuring birds have water and feed, and preparing houses for new chick arrival and placement. The role also involves preparing houses for bird load-out and reconditioning, mastering and practicing essential farm animal husbandry, and performing outdoor duties like mowing, grass trimming, and snow removal. Adherence to all Animal Welfare Standards and biosecurity program regulations is required, along with other assigned duties.

• Willingness to work overtime and be called into work for emergencies as required
