About The Position

The Farm Attendant cares for the animals and ensures compliance with health and sanitation regulations at the Stew Leonard’s Little Animal Farm. This is a seasonal hourly position with an estimated pay range of $17.25/hr to $20.13/hr depending on qualifications and experience. The role requires the attendant to be at least 18 years old. Stew Leonard’s, founded in 1969, is a family-owned and operated fresh food store with locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey, known for its "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Ensure animal corrals are clean of feces
• Ensures animals are fed and have water
• Maintain required logs and records for farm maintenance and animal care
• Report any potential illness to veterinarian or store manager
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Assist in other duties, as assigned
