Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems for over 100 years, is seeking a Fan Blade Part Family Manager to support its Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organization. The ESTO department provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications, escapes, and work stops, while enabling the producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts, assemblies, modules, and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families, facilitating engine deliveries, first piece reviews, first article inspections, analysis automation, and process certification. It also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations, with technical disciplines including Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, and Manufacturing Engineering.

Requirements

A Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 12 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in Engineering and 10 years of engineering experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Design, develop, and provide ongoing production support for Compression Systems Hardware, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, performance, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the delivery of commercial fan blade hardware, ensuring all product milestones, quality standards, and customer commitments are consistently achieved within established schedules.
Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term producibility strategies for the assigned product family.
Maintain accountability for non‑conformance management, Class II engineering changes, recall activity support, and the associated budget and resource planning.
Serve as the onsite engineering manager for the PW Holt facility, acting as the primary interface with onsite Operations and Quality leadership.
Coordinate daily priorities, remove roadblocks, and ensure engineering support meets operational needs.
Integrate cross‑functionally with Quality, Operations, Suppliers, Customers, and engineering teams across PW and supplier sites to confirm that technical requirements are understood, validated, and met throughout all stages of production.
