About The Position

Cosm is a global technology company that brings experiences to life in immersive environments, helping partners create spaces and content that blur the lines of real and virtual across Sports and Entertainment, Science and Education, and Parks and Attractions. The company was formed from the fusion of Evans & Sutherland, Spitz, Inc., and Cosm Immersive. The Fan Ambassador role requires a passion for the hospitality industry and focuses on delivering a "Cosmworthy" and memorable experience for guests. Guest Services team members are responsible for providing best-in-class hospitality, including greeting arriving fans, assisting with ticket sales, selling and restocking retail items, scanning tickets, thanking departing fans, and addressing any questions or concerns. They may also handle telephone calls, usher fans throughout the venue, assist with event setup and breakdown, and ensure the safety and well-being of all fans and team members.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be fluent in English and able to write in basic English.
  • Must be of legal age to work unrestricted hours as outlined by local ordinances and state laws.
  • Must be able to continuously stand, walk and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Will be occasionally kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Will seldom be sitting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Explain and demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ensure each fan is taken care of upon entering the building to leaving the building.
  • Be knowledgeable of the Company’s products, services, current promotions, and recurring events.
  • Willingly, and with positive attitude, follow direction of all supervisors, including additional requests for side work, cleaning, etc.
  • Comply with, and support, all policies set forth by the Cosm employee handbook and training manuals.
  • Work a variety of shifts, based on the need volume of the operation (late hours, holidays, weekend, etc.).
  • Consistently be friendly and outgoing toward guests, management, and fellow team members.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate good time management skills and communication skills.
  • Follow Company and state safety guidelines to provide a safe working environment.
