The Manager, Area FH 2 position serves as the primary contact in providing family history support to one ecclesiastical area with multiple languages and various cultures for all Family History Department investments, activities, and functions within the Area. This position oversees a more complex area, with more members of the Church, and with a complexity of priesthood support. This position also represents the department with the Area Presidency and DTA, and manages department operations throughout the Area including records and field relations, camera operations, operation centers, outreach, support and call centers, Family History Centers, and assessment and design. The manager strives to achieve the department purpose, which is to: 'Create inspiring experiences that bring joy to all people as they discover, gather, and connect their families – past, present, and future. 'This position takes into consideration on the the number of missionaries in the area, the number of Church members, the number of countries and languages, the number of initiatives being worked on in the area, etc. Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work.
