Bilingual Trauma-Focused Family Therapist
About The Position
Savio House is seeking a bilingual clinician to provide therapeutic services, focusing on family preservation and trauma-informed treatments like TF-CBT and TST. This role aims to keep children and youth with their families when safety concerns are identified. The position involves collaborating with families, supporting caregivers in creating safe environments, and engaging them in change-oriented treatment. The therapist will work in the Colorado Springs area, serving children and youth aged 0-18, and will be instrumental in helping families meet their treatment goals, leading to the reunification or preservation of families.
Requirements
- Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
- DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC, NLC
- Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities
- Supporting caregivers in creating an environment that promotes safety and stability for their children (0-18 years of age)
- Engaging primary caregivers in active, change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to progress and connecting them with services and supports.
- Collaborating with families and allowing them to take the lead in setting treatment goals
- Keeping or reuniting children with their families by supporting families in meeting their treatment goals
