About The Position

The Family Support Worker will provide direct support and assistance to families to help them achieve stability and improve their overall well-being. This role involves assessing family needs, offering guidance, and connecting them with appropriate resources and services by using your bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.

Requirements

Experience with working with youth and families
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
At minimum, basic verbal fluency in English and Spanish required
Strong Computer Skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with educational systems preferred
Bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole

Responsibilities

Provide information and educational resources to family members
Assist families in identifying resources to meet individual family needs
Develop the Family Resource Center calendar
Host parent and Youth Support groups
Complete all documentation in a timely manner
Provide support to volunteers
