About The Position

Newcomer Funeral Service Group is seeking a Family Service Associate to support families through advance planning and at need cemetery arrangements at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. Team members may work at either location based on business needs, offering variety and flexibility in day to day work. Memorial Park Cemetery offers a peaceful, welcoming setting where families feel supported and cared for. This is a meaningful, relationship based sales role focused on helping families find peace of mind. Associates build relationships with families, generate sales using company provided tools and self sourced leads, participate in community events, and ensure all arrangements are completed accurately and with care.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Minimum of one year of experience in sales, service, or a related field
• Strong communication skills with a respectful, people‑focused approach
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable using basic office and computer systems
• Ability to manage multiple arrangements while ensuring accuracy and follow‑through
• Enjoys working with people and helping families select from a range of services and merchandise

• Associate degree or higher preferred
