Please follow this link for a closer look at what it’s like to work at Children’s Wisconsin: https://www.instagram.com/lifeatcw/ Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to plan, develop, organize, implement, coordinate, manage, evaluate and oversee program operations for prevention programming in the Family Resource Center (FRC) setting across multiple counties or a region. Leads internal and external activities, serves as primary administrator, and oversees and facilitates special projects related to the FRC. Serves as the contact for FRC program development. Provides staff technical assistance and support and acts as a lead worker related to programs offered at the FRC. As part of a team, assists with staff development activities. Represents CSSW in local, state, and federal level activities related to the FRC as appropriate.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Education, Human Services, or other related field
2+ years experience in community outreach, parent education, social services or related experience
Experience in successfully leading project implementation from start to finish
Trained and accredited in a minimum of 3 levels of Triple P
Ability to provide service in a manner that demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to the client’s cultural values and beliefs.
Committed to working toward improving one’s own cultural competence, i.e. valuing diversity, recognizing personal limitations in one’s own skills and expertise, and having the desire to learn.
Demonstrated leadership skills; including team building, measuring and managing work process, program development, time management skills, problem solving, perseverance, customer focus, organizing skills and productive work habits.
Familiarity with community resources and or ability to be resourceful to establish community linkages and a referral network
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written communication, including the ability to effectively present information in individual and group settings with a variety of audiences.
Strong computer skills and well versed in the Windows environment and Micro soft office applications.
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from diverse individuals, community groups and the general public.
Relates well to all kinds of people and is approachable.
Commands attention and can manage group process during presentations and family meetings.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversees and coordinates all FRC activities.
Responsible for managing the quality of the program per best practice standards established.
Implements evidenced based program models with fidelity.
Develops marketing and public awareness plans for the FRC.
Responsible for managing the FRC’s on-line presence through web and Facebook pages.
Manages work plans within established time frames.
Contributes to the development of program materials and implementation processes to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Oversees and facilitates special projects related to the FRC.
Serves as the contact for program development related to the FRC.
Develops, coordinates, and facilitates group based parenting classes to program participants in the community, with stakeholders, and in the FRC.
Provides community and stakeholder education and outreach locally, with surrounding counties, and regionally as related to the program. This may include development of a communications strategy, presentations to large groups, and utilization of existing department and unit newsletters.
Facilitates direct services in programs, arranges program logistics and markets program in the community, surrounding counties, and region.
As part of a team, assists with staff development activities.
May represent CW in local, state and federal level activities related to the program as appropriate.
