About The Position

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Family Resource Center Supervisor provides guidance and direct supervision to Parent Aides and Family Support Specialists delivering comprehensive case management and home visitation services. The Supervisor supports staff through coaching, mentoring, case consultation, after-hours support, and performance management, and maintains a small caseload to model best practices. The goal is to strengthen staff competencies, maintain service delivery compliance, ensure fidelity to the Exchange Parent Aide Model and Prevention Services action plan, and foster a collaborative environment that supports healthy family outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Child Development, Psychology, Education, or a related Human Services field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 consecutive years of paid supervisory experience in Human Services or a related field, working with at-risk families and children in home visitation and case management
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, clean driving record, and auto insurance
  • Strong skills in family case planning, parent education, time management, coaching, and staff supervision
  • Effective oral and written communication with the ability to collaborate across families, staff, and community partners
  • Ability to work with high-risk communities and handle sensitive situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and internet applications; 40–50 WPM typing required

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support to Parent Aides and Family Support Specialists
  • Orients and trains new staff and interns
  • Oversees intake, service coordination, case assignments, and discharge planning
  • Incorporates and coaches trauma-informed approaches to case management
  • Facilitates referrals for mental health, developmental, and other community services
  • Represents the program at quarterly referral resource partnership meetings
  • Conducts weekly group supervision and case reviews
  • Documents case notes, collateral contacts, and narratives within 72 hours in identified databases
  • Reviews and approves monthly reports, service plans, and case management documentation
  • Ensures compliance with program standards, documentation requirements, and service delivery expectations
  • Tracks home visitation metrics and generates performance reports per SVP goals
  • Conducts monthly internal case management audits and reports findings to the Program Manager
  • Develops Individual Family Support Plans for enrolled families
  • Provides after-hours crisis intervention and consultation for complex cases as needed
  • Supports the Program Manager in building and maintaining community partner relationships
  • Facilitates parenting workshops and life skills training for participants
  • Models positive parenting, communication, and problem-solving strategies
  • Completes required training and certifications for core curriculum implementation
  • Complies with Bloom, DHS, and applicable state policies and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
