About The Position

Fox Valley Medical Associates seeks a full-time Family Practice Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compliant clinical support in an onsite physician office setting in Batavia, IL. This role exists to ensure timely patient assessment, accurate documentation, and coordinated care delivery across daily clinic operations. A typical day for a Family Practice Registered Nurse begins with preparing exam rooms, confirming schedules, and reviewing the day’s patient needs in the EMR. You will move between focused patient interactions and coordination tasks—communicating updates with providers, answering clinical questions, and ensuring orders and results are tracked to completion. Throughout the day, you will balance steady patient flow with occasional urgent add-ons, documenting in real time and maintaining privacy standards. The day concludes with final chart checks, follow-up coordination, and readiness planning for the next clinic session.

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of practice and current CPR certification
2–5 years of physician office/clinical nursing experience
Strong assessment, documentation, and patient communication capabilities
Proficiency with EMR workflows
Bilingual Spanish speaking REQUIRED

Responsibilities

Administering medications and treatments as ordered
Performing EKGs and other diagnostic testing
Supporting patient education and follow-up
Coordinating labs, imaging, and referrals
Maintaining precise clinical documentation within the electronic medical record
Adhering to OSHA, HIPAA, and Medicare requirements
Preparing exam rooms, confirming schedules, and reviewing the day’s patient needs
Communicating updates with providers
Answering clinical questions
Ensuring orders and results are tracked to completion
Documenting in real time and maintaining privacy standards
Final chart checks, follow-up coordination, and readiness planning for the next clinic session
