About The Position

This specific role is for a Family Physician (Academic) within the Schulich Family Medicine Teaching Unit (FMTU) at Humber River Health. The successful candidate will join a collegial and supportive team of six academic family physicians. The position involves establishing a full-time comprehensive family practice while contributing to the teaching and supervision of residents and medical students. The FMTU is located on the ground floor of Hennick Humber Hospital and is supported by an interprofessional team including nursing, social work, and dietician, with plans for expansion. The practice operates within a Family Health Organization (FHO) model.

Requirements

  • CPSO licensure
  • CCFP licensure
  • Interest in medical education

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care a minimum of five half-days per week.
