About The Position
An established, walk-in, non-emergency urgent care clinic in Hickory, North Carolina, is seeking a Family or Emergency Medicine Physician. The clinic treats patients of all ages and sees approximately 40–50 patients per full shift. The physician will work with multiple providers and full support staff, with no on-call status. The facility uses Experity EMR and has a CLIA- and COLA-approved lab and full-body digital X-ray capabilities onsite. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The posting also lists rotating work and days-off patterns: Monday–Tuesday on, Wednesday–Thursday off, Friday–Sunday on; then Monday–Tuesday off, Wednesday–Thursday on, Friday–Sunday off. Requirements
- Active Tennessee state license.
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- Active DEA registration.
- DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Registered with CAQH.
