About The Position
An established urgent care facility in Statesville, North Carolina, is seeking a physician to provide walk-in, non-emergency urgent care for patients of all ages. The clinic has full support staff and multiple providers. Physicians see approximately 40–50 patients during a full shift. There is no on-call status. The schedule is described as weekday and weekend shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with alternating schedules also listed: Monday–Tuesday on, Wednesday–Thursday off, Friday–Sunday on; then Monday–Tuesday off, Wednesday–Thursday on, and Friday–Sunday off. The facility uses Experity EMR and has an onsite CLIA- and COLA-approved lab and full-body digital X-ray capabilities.
Requirements
- Active Tennessee state license.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- Active DEA registration.
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Registration with CAQH.
