About The Position

BBH is seeking sharp minds and bold thinkers for its 10-week internship program, designed as a pathway to real-world finance, global markets, and professional development. The program immerses interns in BBH's culture and business needs, offering hands-on learning on real projects, mentorship from industry leaders and owners, and professional development through workshops and networking events. Interns will work in a collaborative environment, with a daily on-site presence to accelerate professional development. The program also includes community involvement through the BBHcares philanthropic program. The Family Office Services area at BBH focuses on helping clients thrive by addressing the intersection of their wealth, values, and lives. This involves defining client values, communicating a vision for wealth's impact, and creating plans and investments to preserve, grow, and transition wealth. They offer personalized solutions for managing complexity, protecting legacies, and ensuring multi-generational thriving. Specific services include Investment Advisory, Values-Based Wealth Planning, Philanthropic Advisory, Family Office Advisory (tax, philanthropy, reporting, lifestyle), Next Generation Education, The Center for Women and Wealth®, and Income Tax Advisory and Planning.

Requirements

  • Currently a junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027
  • Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities
  • Strong understanding of asset management industry and security markets (equities and fixed income)
  • Interest in investing coupled with an understanding of financial services
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
  • Outstanding client service skills and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success
  • PC proficiency, specifically in MS Office (strong proficiency in excel a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities of a dedicated client base and ensure client needs are being met and that BBH services are properly delivered.
  • Support the new client onboarding and oversight of the family office services.
  • Support the creation of client meeting materials.
  • Exposure to implementation and execution of specific service delivery including planning, tax advisory and consolidated reporting.
  • Learn how to troubleshoot client issues including understanding client structures.
