As a Treasury Analyst Intern, you will gain a rare perspective on how a global bank manages liquidity, funding and its network of banking relationships. You will learn how cash management products work, see how multi-currency liquidity projections are built and monitored, and observe how market and central bank activity shapes daily decisions. You will also be introduced to the innovative products, technology and controls that underpin BBH’s commitment to operational excellence. Success in this fast-paced environment calls for strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the drive to thrive alongside a team that values integrity and ambition. What you can expect from a Treasury Analyst Internship with BBH: Industry Research: Track central bank policy and broader macroeconomic developments, and understand how they influence the firm’s investing decisions. Cash Management: Monitor client cash projections throughout the day to identify liquidity needs and help inform short-term investment decisions. Banking Relationships: Develop insight into how global institutions work with their counterparties and why those relationships matter. Treasury Operations: Gain exposure to payment processing, settlements and funding, and see how the mechanics of moving money at scale come together. Collaboration: Partner with fellow interns across the Line of Business on a capstone project addressing a meaningful business challenge, presented to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Current Junior in College, entering senior year in Fall of 2027, with a genuine interest in finance, data analytics or economics—no prior Treasury experience required
  • Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills i.e. Skilled at customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas
  • Sound judgment and ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem
