About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a floating Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in the South Georgia/Northwest Florida area. The role provides patient-focused care in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment and may also involve primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal candidate is flexible and able to work with teams at different clinics while providing leadership. Shifts are determined two months in advance. MainStreet clinics are generally open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At specified KidsStreet clinics, hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Work hours may change based on company needs, training, and floater assignments.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
MSN or higher education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work with teams at different clinics and in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign-object removal.
Provide suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review x-rays for radiologist over-read.
Treat general dermatology and eye problems.
Interpret general EKGs.
Provide emergency management.
Provide general gynecological care.
Treat children of all ages.
