About The Position

Las Clinicas Del Norte is a federally designated Frontier Community Health Center in a Medically Underserved Area. We are seeking passionate Family Nurse Practitioners to provide community-oriented primary care for a multi-cultural patient population, with an emphasis on education, prevention, therapy, and rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide culturally competent care to underserved and medically indigent patients. We operate 3 clinic sites and 3 School Based Health Centers in Northern New Mexico, offering a work/life balance and opportunities for loan repayment. This is an outpatient-only position with no call or hospital responsibilities.

Requirements

License to practice in New Mexico.
Current DEA/CSR registrations.
Ability to provide community-oriented primary care for a multi-cultural patient population, including an emphasis in the areas of education, prevention, therapy, and rehabilitation.
Strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Comfort with a team-oriented approach to accommodate patients of all ages.
Ability to commute or relocate to El Rito/Ojo Caliente/ or Abiquiu NM.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
DEA X-waiver to prescribe Suboxone.
Certified Nurse Practitioner.
