About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to work across multiple clinics in the Gastonia, North Carolina region. The role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, a high-volume environment, and working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Providers care for patients of all ages in urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine settings. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification is required.
• An MSN or higher is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays, which receive a Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Evaluate and treat general dermatology complaints, eye complaints, and GYN care needs.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Provide emergency management in a fast-paced setting.
