About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a floating Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in the Charlotte region. The practitioner provides patient-focused care in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. MainStreet Family Care offers urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal candidate is flexible in working with teams at different clinics and providing leadership in this environment. Shifts are determined two months in advance. MainStreet clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinics in the listed locations are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Work hours may change based on company needs, training, and floater assignments.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
MSN or higher education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work with teams in different clinics.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with EMR systems.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign object removal.
Provide suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review x-rays, which are also over-read by a radiologist.
Treat general dermatology and eye problems.
Interpret general EKGs.
Provide emergency management.
Provide general gynecological care.
Treat children of all ages.
Provide occupational medicine services.
Provide telemedicine services.
Work across multiple clinics and provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment.
