About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our growing team in the Atlanta, Georgia market. This is a full-time inpatient opportunity working alongside a collaborative behavioral health team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and improving mental health outcomes. Ally Psychiatry is a physician-led behavioral healthcare organization focused on delivering high-quality psychiatric services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Active Georgia APRN license or ability to obtain
- DEA license or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for serving patients with behavioral health needs
Nice To Haves
- Previous inpatient, hospitalist, family medicine, emergency medicine, or behavioral health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete medical history and physical examinations for psychiatric inpatients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and behavioral health professionals regarding patient care plans
- Coordinate care with specialists, primary care providers, and hospital staff as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Support quality patient outcomes through evidence-based medical care
